Inspiration for Winter Garden Rooms.

It’s common to assume that garden rooms can only be used in the summer, which is not correct. Even in the colder, winter months, you can use our rooms for anything you wish.

Our rooms are built to be fully usable all year round with insulation, double glazing, and an electric heating system of your choice. Making it ideal for enabling you to carry on using them the same way as you would in the warmer periods of the year.

Here are a few ideas of how you can efficiently use your space for the colder periods.

  • Library.

It’s a known fact that any prolific book worms love nothing more than grabbing a book and cosying up their nook of a room whilst its raining or snowing.

Embrace this new space and make it into your own mini library.

You can design your room to have optimal lighting, with use of ceiling to floor windows and bi-fold doors, matched with daylight bulbs, creating the perfect lighting ambiance.

Not only is this place for reading, but it’s for you to switch off from the daily stresses of life. When you put down your book, you can allow your mind to wander, taking in the scenery around you.

  • Bar/space to entertain guests through the festive period.

Christmas day is a time to enjoy the festivities with family and friends.

Impress your guests by decking up your room with a table large enough to fit all the decorations and indulgent food.

Set up your own bar where you can enjoy all of the festive tipples. You can also buy a projector to show some of the classic Christmas films to keep the kids entertained.

  • A ‘Garden’ room.

If you’re a plant enthusiast, why not embrace the warmer environment inside your room and make use of large windows and natural light to make your own greenhouse room close to your house. Any of your favourite plants that thrive through the warmer periods could be kept inside so they can continue to

grow through winter and who doesn't love the view of a load of plants, nothing like a mood booster when it's feeling cold and dreary.

  • A Home Cinema.

We love nothing more than watching movies cosied under a blanket with a bowl of popcorn. Why don't you transfer that over to a separate room just for that? Buy yourself

a projector or a large screen television, install the full lighting system and you're on your way for a great cinematic experience.
